Well KH is suppose to be tall too, like 6 foot or near it, and Morya like over 6 feet 6.4-6.6. You can see Morya is taller then KH so if KH is already 6 foot something then the perspectives might change. And HBP seating in a chair does not even come up to Morya's chest. I think she was short?
I guess someone could do a height experment with a lady the same height as her and see where she comes to a person standing behind her while sitting.

Saint Germane is suppose to be under 6 foot... I really wish there was an expert in photography who could take a look at it and answer these questions.

On the other hand - it could be a bonafide photo, of _somebody_. A curiosity at least. Thanks for posting it. (Another "fact" that comes to mind, is that HPB described M as a big man, which I take to be well over 6 foot - which isn't born out in the photo, relative to the other people.)

I don't know photography, and what is possible. It might be significant that Knapp worked for the movie industry, and perhaps he worked in "special effects," which would give him expertise is faking a photo, or film, or being "creative" Like Paul said, and I said, the next step would be to email the Philosophic Research Society and see if they know anything. Knapp apparently did the illustrations for their most popular book: "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" (Which is on sale now at Hamiltonbooks.com (?) for $17 plus post!).
Estrella: Point Loma Publications and the group also is long gone. Pt Loma Pubs library burned a few years ago. Pasadena TS has the largest collection of Point Loma materials. They had 18 Theosophical Manuals in Spanish, and may still. Sorry about the link being no good. I will upload a copy here of #3 Karma (Off-subject but doubt Rose will mind.)

Also, just for a curious note: I really don't know if Saint Germain-Racokzy exists (Racokzy i knew was a caracter from late 1800s) I always have been a bit sceptic of his existence so popular here in Metaphysic circles - popular here in Mexico -
But, for the record: Remember when that ODD phenomena in sky appeared in Norway? In UFO circles speculated that it was a Chandra-astral wormhole or passway to other realities...could be another Dimensions? Astral-alternate planes? Hollow/inner Earth? Dunno...
BUT...what amazed me...it was that the young kid that photographed the odd phenomena, chandra or whatever was...the last name of the kid was, precisely...RACOKZY...
WIERD...isn't it??

Didn't someone said that the 'masters' had some wierd special powers, some of wich were extreme longevity??
(I'm not saying that it WAS in fact, Prince Rackokzy...but at least could be his grandgrandgrandetc son...could it be???)

Bogus picture?? At worst, it seems it could be the deteriorated early photograph of the original painting, it could be.
It has the characteristics of a very old picture of mid-late 18 00s.
If it is a painting, it is a very good reproduction of a painting, because of the great detail of the 3rd master (supposed to-be Prince Racockzy) feet in comparison with HPB's. That is a very detailed painting? of someone's feet in comparison to her's, and in good perspective.
You have to know something of art to know that. Even better you can ask to Mark Kusek's here, he's good in painting, and he must know perspective.
Well also in 1800s painting was in very good level. They made almost photograph's.

Mark,
The only painting I can find by Knapp that resembles this image is the one I have added to this album which I have titled " painting of the HPB photo" the two images are obviously not the same, either he painted BOTH of these images or one is based on the resemblance of the other or...?? well it does not look like to my observation the work of a painting, I do have another copy of this image that is slightly in better resolution and from my study of it, I cant see it as a painting. I admit I am no expert by any means and wish an expert would examine this image to help us determine if it could be a painting or not. Also The origins are unknown it would be great if someone knew any info at all about this image, if any of the old members mentioned it or if it was seen in any of the TS branches before HPB's death in their special rooms I hear they had for pictures of the Masters.

If it is a picture, it can move a lot of ghosts buried in the depths of Theosophy. Still as a painting amazes me. Beautiful.
Mark, I looked the link you send to me, but it seems that - as i know just recently - that Point Loma doesn't exist anymore as a TS branch, - Seems that a Fire consumed more than 80% of the library archives...so much for that valuable library..-never didn't got to knew it- and also the place itself. Too bad, 'cause Point Loma is the most close to my home of the TS branch that i could get hold of. (san diego)

I cannot get it in a Mexico place 'cause it does not exist a TS organized branch in form as in US. (barely i knew of a Rosarito branch but still too far away -even more far away- and i don't know if they got the book) for me could be more easily to get it in Borders or some US library...still don't have a credit card yet... happen to know some good US library where i could get it??
Thnks anyway for the data. it seems to me a very interesting book...still i couldn't read it in the link.
